Accepting these terms
These terms apply to the Mindation website and its public content. By using the site, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
The site is intended for adults. You must be at least 16 years old to submit any personal information, including an email address.
The Mindation mobile app is a separate product and will have its own terms covering its own features.
Educational wellness content, not medical care
Mindation publishes general educational content about affirmations, mindfulness, daily practices, and emotional well-being. All of it is provided for informational and educational purposes only.
The content is not medical, psychological, psychiatric, or other professional advice, and it is not a diagnosis, treatment, therapy, or a substitute for care from a qualified professional. Using this site does not create a doctor–patient, therapist–client, or any other professional relationship.
Nothing here is individualized. It cannot account for your history, circumstances, medication, or condition, and general information that helps one person may be unsuitable for another.
Always seek the advice of a qualified health provider with any questions about a medical or mental health condition. Never disregard professional advice, or delay seeking it, because of something you read on this site.
We make no promise about outcomes. We do not claim that any affirmation or practice will improve, treat, cure, or prevent any condition, and we do not claim any particular result for you.
If you are in crisis, thinking about harming yourself, or believe you may be in immediate danger, do not rely on this site. Contact your local emergency number or a crisis service right away.
Your responsibility when using the content
You decide whether a practice is appropriate for you, and you use it at your own risk. If a practice feels unhelpful, distressing, or physically uncomfortable, stop and consult a professional if that seems warranted.
You are responsible for how you interpret and apply what you read here, and for any decision you make based on it. Content may be adapted, shortened, or misread outside its original context; we cannot control that and are not responsible for it.
If you have a physical or mental health condition, are pregnant, are taking medication, or are receiving treatment, talk to your provider before starting any new practice.
Emails and the app waitlist
Giving us your email address asks us to tell you when the Mindation app launches and, from time to time, to send related material. It does not create an account, a subscription, or a purchase, and it does not entitle you to any product.
You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email. How we handle your address is described in the Privacy Policy.
Any reference to the future app describes our current intention. Features, timing, availability, and pricing may change, and we may decide not to release it at all.
Content ownership and permitted use
The site, its text, design, graphics, brand name, logo, and original content are owned by Mindation or used with permission, and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.
You may read, print, and share Mindation content for personal, non-commercial use, and you may quote a short excerpt with clear attribution and a link back to the page it came from.
You may not republish substantial portions, resell the content, present it as your own, use it to train machine learning models, or perform systematic automated extraction, scraping, or bulk downloading. Any wider use requires our written permission.
Third-party quotations, research findings, and cited material remain the property of their respective owners.
Acceptable use
When using the site, you agree not to:
- interfere with the site's operation, security, or availability;
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the site or its infrastructure;
- submit false contact details, another person's information, or unlawful, abusive, or misleading content through our forms;
- use automated means to access the site in a way that places an unreasonable load on it;
- use the site for any unlawful purpose, or in breach of the laws that apply to you.
We may restrict or block access if the site is being misused.
Third-party links and services
We link to research, institutions, app stores, social platforms, and service providers we do not control. Those links are provided for convenience and are not endorsements.
External sites have their own terms and privacy practices, and we are not responsible for their content, availability, or how they treat your information.
Availability and changes to the site
We may update, correct, reorganize, or remove content, and we may suspend or discontinue any part of the site at any time without notice. We do not guarantee that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available in every location.
Corrections and update dates follow our Editorial Policy: dates reflect real review, not a refresh to look current.
No warranties
The site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, and availability. We do not warrant that the content is complete, current, or suitable for your circumstances, or that any described practice will work for you.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you. Where that is the case, our warranties are limited to the minimum period and extent permitted by law.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mindation will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or opportunity, arising out of or connected with your use of the site or its content.
This includes, without limitation, any claim arising from your use of, reliance on, or interpretation of the content; any decision you make based on it; any delay in seeking professional care; any outcome of a practice you choose to try; or any error, omission, interruption, or unavailability of the site.
The site is provided free of charge. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the site is limited to one hundred United States dollars (USD 100).
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you, and this section applies only to the extent the law permits.
Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold Mindation harmless from any claim, demand, loss, or expense, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your misuse of the site, your breach of these terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
Copyright complaints
We respect intellectual property rights. If you believe material on this site infringes your copyright, contact us at hello@mindation.app with enough detail for us to act: identify the work, identify the page and material in question, give your contact details, and state that you believe the use is not authorized by the rights holder or the law.
We review complaints and remove or amend material where a claim is substantiated.
Changes, severability, and contact
We may update these terms as the site develops. The date at the top of the page shows when they last changed, and continuing to use the site after an update means you accept the revised terms.
If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it.
The governing law and dispute resolution process for these terms will be confirmed before the Mindation app launches. Until then, mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence continue to apply to you regardless of anything in these terms.
Questions about these terms can be sent to hello@mindation.app or through the Contact page.
